Gaf Tech is able to disconnect the incoming electrical supply from the network power pole/pillar/substation and remove any metering equipment.

Gaf Tech is fully authorised and trained to work on any metering equipment regardless if the meter is analogue or digital and whether it’s a network meter or a retailer meter.

We’re able to install general rate metering, off peak metering, net solar metering as well as private metering. We also offer the service to arrange the installation of current transformer (CT) metering.

Gaf Tech can install your temporary builder supplies (TBS) for your residential, commercial and industrial work sites, ranging from 100 Amps to 400 Amps.

Our TBS service includes;

Gaf Tech’s electrical energy data logging unit allows clients to obtain an accurate report of the power consumption at all given times. The data logging unit will highlight peak power usage as well as the peak voltage, current and amperage being drawn on each individual phase; ideal for determining ACTUAL power consumption.

The data logging unit is installed by our experienced technicians, at the source of supply (substation) or at the main switchboard where a report is generated to address your concerns.

Consumer mains may burn out over time or require an upgrade due an increased power usage.

Gaf Tech can upgrade/ install your consumer mains & main earth in accordance to your desired energy demands. Additionally, Gaf Tech can also upgrade your existing supply to three phase and install the appropriate metering.

ONTOP of that, we’ll process all applications and approvals for your increase of load with the utility companies and your electricity retailer.

Endeavour Energy and Ausgrid carry out regular inspections where minor and major defects are sometimes issued to property owners when they deem there is something hazardous or unsafe with your electricity supply.

Gaf Tech is able to affordably rectify the above defects as well as any others within the specified time period on your notice. PLUS we’ll submit all rectification paperwork to the respective utility company!

Gaf Tech can supply and install power poles, whether steel or timber, to meet your energy requirements.

Gaf Tech provides an EMERGENCY SERVICE to replace fallen power poles and reinstatement of any power line to reconnect your electricity supply.

A strata manager had reached out to us as a tree had fallen onto their private power pole.

Our emergency response crew removed the fallen tree, installed a new private pole and replaced any existing cables that were damaged .

A customer had received a defect from their respective utility authority as their private pole was severely corroded at its base as seen below.

Our response crew attended the site and carried out the following works.

1. Carry out pre-works testing on customers switchboard (i.e NST Test, Phase Rotation Test).
2. Disconnected prower to existing condemed pole to make work zone safe.
3. Removed and load condemed pole onto service truck for disposal.
4. Install new galvanised steel private pole.
5. Carry out appropriate testing and reinstate customers power.
